Country Living Fair 2013

Hi, everyone!  I'll try not to make this post too long, as there's LOTS of goodies to show from my trip to the Country Living Fair! (The above pic is from a booth there. I thought it was such a cute fall display!)
It's an annual tradition for me to travel 2 hours to my friend Suzanne's house (we've been friends for 40+ years, btw!) the day before the CL fair; then we basically have a 2-day shopping bonanza!  To read about last year's adventure go here and here. I'll start with a few pictures that I snapped of Suzanne's house...

This greeted me in my guest bedroom...I thought it was such a cute idea!

The first day that I was there we visited one of our favorite shops, Georgie Emerson Vintage.  The owner Polly is such a sweetie and her store is filled with fun goodies!

I got several treasures there, like this large metal clock face. (The little no. 3 pillow came from CL, and the sweater pumpkins from an antique mall in Columbus.)

And this fun pillow (notice it's got a touch of blue, my new color ;)...

...and this plump cute pumpkin...

I'll show you more of my goodies from this day in another post.  Onto the CL fair...it was a beautiful day and Suzanne, her friend Melanie and I had a great time!  This is Suzanne and Melanie as we're joining the line to get in...

And here is my lifelong friend and me.

There was SO much eye candy there!  Here are some of my favorite booths.  Check out the dress form to the left. Covered in moss and music pages, it was amazing!  I'll let these pics speak for themselves...

These 2 carts were so cute I asked the owners if I could take a pic!  Love how 'blinged out' they are!

So I don't totally overwhelm you, I'll share my finds in my next post.  This is just a small glimpse of the wonderful Country Living Fair-hope you enjoyed it!  Thanks for stopping by and have a fantastic day!

  4. I went on Friday but had to leave soon after I got there. I had a back injury that was killing me. I wanted to go back and buy something that had been made out of the old tins. You didn't happen to remember who that vendor was or have a picture of it. I didn't get to go back.....so sad. Love your pictures. I posted just a couple. I was going to take more when I went back.
