Vacation


Hi!  I want to thank everyone for their comments and suggestions regarding my mantel here, and your comments on my junkin' finds here.  I haven't replied to you or stopped by your blogs in awhile because I just got back from 9 glorious days in Arizona!  My hubby, mom, dad and I went to visit my younger sister, her 4 kids, and our niece's 2 little ones.  Of course our great-niece (age 3) and great-nephew (age 1) are the cutest things EVER, and we had so much fun with them!! :)


The weather was sunny every day, and mostly in the 70's...just what I needed! I'm definitely a warm-weather girl, and I wasn't too happy that I had to come back to freezing temps and snow :(


We traveled to both Tucson and Scottsdale, and I have to tell you folks that live out there that I am truly jealous! My sister and her family have lived in Arizona for over 10 years, and every time I visit I think I fall in love with it a little more (especially in the winter!)


We went to some really cool places, and I'll be sharing more pics soon.  Have a wonderful day, and if you're in a cold part of the country, like me, stay warm!

    I've heard that is a beautiful area, but I've never been there. It looks glorious! It's cold here too, but sunny at the moment. Hope you're recovering from your trip and can't wait to see more vacay pics!

    Winters are great there, but Summers with 116+ degree temps are really bad. :D Sounds like you had a fun vacation.

    I visited Scottsdale once and fell in love at first sight!! I want to spend my winters there but financially, I can't :( working on it though, in my dreams, prayers and shout outs to the Universe. lol xo

    I'm glad you got to warm up for a few days- we will be in our flip flops all weekend. 78 in January! I want winter. My coat hasn't been pulled out in two years...sigh.

    I am jealous!!!! We have friends in Scottsdale so I know how beautiful it is out there. It is only 6 degrees here in Chicago so I am so jealous you are in the warmth!!!! Have a great time. Enjoy.

    Love the photo. You're so cute! The majority of my family lives in Arizona. I spent 7 years growing up in Scottsdale. I have no desire to go back. I like the cooler summers. Glad you had a great time!

    I know what you mean about Az. I have visited many time and I love it. I've been to Scottsdale, Flagstaff, Sedona, Phoenix and I just love it every time. The only thing is I am not use to that dry heat during the summer. I live in Florida so it's a little hard when I go over there during the summer time. So glad you had a great time with your family.
