Mad Cow (Again)

Hi, everyone!  Hope you're having a great weekend!  Remember this post when I shared my new cow obsession and my latest cow acquisitions?  Well, recently my mom and I had a day of junking in Amish Country and we found all of these sweet cow creamers in one day! (Plus an extra one that we posted on our Etsy site :)

Actually, my mom spotted each of these for me (at different antique malls, no less!)  As she pointed them out she laughingly said, "I can't believe that I'm contributing to yet another one of your collections!"  As a side note, my mom totally gets me...she just likes to tease me about my never-ending revolving door of collections.  (When I start weeding out, needing more room for my 'new' collections, I simply take things into the shop-it's a great 'job' perk!)  In spite of her daughter rearranging things every other day and constantly adding new treasures to the mix, she rarely changes things around or starts new collections!

Anyway, back to the cows...I've seen the medium sized creamer before, but never the 'huge' size or the little tiny size.  I thought they just made the cutest trio!

I decided to put them on one of the shelves in our kitchen.

I think they look at home with the rest of my black and white goodies here.

Last week my friend Lori (who has a fantastic shop, by the way) surprised me with this little guy-so sweet! Love him! (he's so tiny and adorable)

I brought home this little frame yesterday, and my hubby said "Why don't you put that little cow in that frame?"  Brilliant!  (Now you know why I keep him around :)

Next, I just might have to bring this girlie home from our shop...don't you think she'd be a fun addition?

Ok, well, gotta run...I have another new collection I'm working on that I'll share with you soon (I see my mom shaking her head...)  Have a wonderful day! :)

Shop Sneak Peek

Hi, everyone!  My mom and I really enjoy our little shop, and we feel so blessed to stay busy weekend after weekend (we're just open Fridays and Saturdays which works out great for us!) We're always on the hunt to bring in fun, 'new' things every week to keep the store fresh. I thought I'd show you what we've been working on lately...enjoy!

On the subject of business, we just ordered new business cards, and I'm so pleased with them!  We used Vistaprint, and the cards are cute, professional looking and very reasonable.  You can get great deals on Vistaprint products (even business cards for free!) They have anything that you might need to promote your business or blog.

Well, I hope you enjoyed the little shop tour!  Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day :)

Breakfast of Champions

Hi, everyone!  Ok, I'm going to warn you...if you're a nutritionist, or if you don't believe in eating sugar or salt, then you'd better log out of this post right now.  Because I'm going to introduce you to one of my favorite addictions...Nonni's Salted Caramel Biscotti!

When we were visiting my sister in Arizona back in January, she introduced me to these babies and I was hooked!

So hooked in fact that I've been having one (ok, two) for breakfast with my cup o' joe...every. single. day.  We've even had to make emergency runs for them when I've eaten the last one and get panicked.  I mean, look at them!  Can you blame me?

And they're even good for you, at only 100 calories each! (Ok, maybe now I'm pushing it a little bit...??)

Have any of you tried them?  Nonni's isn't paying me to rave on their product, but I sure wouldn't mind if they wanna send me a case-or a truckload-ha!

I'm sure by now you get it, I love these.  If you try them, let me know what you think! (I just get them at our local grocery store.)

This post is also an excuse to show off one of my latest finds-did you notice the linens in the biscotti pics?  (How's that for a segue? :)

I spotted these lovelies at a recent antique show and swooned!  The dealer said they're homespun Hungarian fabric. I'm always drawn to a red stripe, and I think the initials are so quaint.

The set of four had to come home with me!

I also got this basket from the same dealer. I thought it was cute, and would be a perfect 'container' for the linens.  This little ensemble is now residing on my sunroom coffee table. (I'll show you more of that room later.)

Well, thanks for stopping by, and have a wonderful day :)

Freshening Up the Powder Room

(Thank you to Lavender Garden Cottage and Rooted in Thyme for featuring this post!)
Good morning!  Hope you're all having a great weekend!
Who says a small space can't be cute?  Our first floor bathroom is very tiny, so I have limited space to work with-of course that doesn't stop me from decorating every nook and cranny! This half bath has looked like this in the past.  Here are a few spring touches that I've added recently...

I kept this old metal cart here-it fits the space well, and gives it some personality.

I changed out the top and the shelves to a little more rustic look.

The top the the commode has to be 'pretty', too!

A barn wood chalkboard that I found works perfectly in this small narrow space.

I tore some pictures out of an old butterfly book to pin to the chicken wire board. (Better than pinning the real thing, in my opinion!)

I ordered this basket online, and it holds tons of t.p. (You gotta have a cute container to hold essentials! :)  The size and shape are perfect for this space.

I got this old mirror at the flea market.  I love its lines and detailing.

Well, that's the grand tour of our tiny powder room!  Have a wonderful day! :)
