Would You Like Cream or Sugar With That?

(Thanks to Ivy and Elephants for featuring this post!)
Hi, everyone!  Can you believe that it's April already?!  I hope you all had a wonderful Easter.
Remember the Sweet Salvage Sale in Arizona that I went to back in January? (You can read about that incredible event here.) Well, the other day I realized that I never showed you one of my favorite finds from there!  It's this fun little metal stand.

My mom, being such a doll, hauled this through 2 airports for me because it wouldn't fit into a suitcase!  (I was lovingly carrying my precious bundle of lavender, remember? :)

Anyway, this is the perfect size to display my collection of little silver pieces, and just the kind of whimsical vignette that I love to add to my decor! (There's some creamers, sugar bowls, and a baby cup or two hanging from it!)  I actually found a couple of these at the flea market that we went to in Tucson. Luckily, those fit into the suitcase! ;)

I placed it on this 'cart' in the dining room, next to the olive bucket that I got in Chicago this past fall.  It fits in perfectly with all of the other silver accessories that were already here.

I've restyled some other areas of the dining room, too, that I'll be showing you soon. Have a fantastic day! :)

  23. I like the way you styled the shelves. And the rack looks really neat holding your collection.

I finally checked it out a couple of weeks ago. The once a month opening is a neat concept; I bet they get more people in than they would in an entire month, because one has to make a decision pretty quickly or know what they were looking for. (I did find what I was looking for.)

  24. Your display rack is a wonderful find! It looks cute with your silver pieces, but could be changed out for the seasons, too. It would be fun with little vintage Santa mugs at Christmas. Cute!
