Latest Garage Sale Find

(Thank you to Green Willow Pond for featuring this post!)
Hi, everyone!  I was so excited about my newest 'score' that I had to share!
My mom and I were recently at a garage sale when I spied this wooden tote sitting across the yard on the ground. Old? Check. Rustic? Check. Tons of character? Check. Great price? Check. SOLD!

Love that both ends are stamped with letters and there's some handwritten numbers on the one side.

I set about filling it with goodies.  This thing is pretty darn big!  So I needed LOTS of goodies.

I gathered together some of my favorite things.  I started with a nest, a couple of grain sacks, and an antler...

...then added a bunch of 'crusty' flower pots...

...and a basket of some dried lavender from my last trip to Arizona, which you can read about here...

 And voila!

A new vignette on our factory cart coffee table.

I'm happy with the new look...

...and it looks like I'm not the only one who's enjoying it! :)

Thanks so much for stopping by-have a wonderful day!

    1. Thanks, Elma! We clean our floors...very infrequently! Ha! No really...when we do clean them we use Hoover Floor Mate. My dad worked for the Hoover Company for over 40 years, so I'd be in trouble if I used anything else! ;)

  28. Looks perfect on that on that factory cart coffee table ... meant to be together. Displayed very nicely ... and your beautiful cat approves. Totes/tool boxes that are not deep show off the display items so much better.
    Thanks for sharing.

  34. I was about to say...the only thing that could make it better would be a cat, and then bam, there is the cat :) looks like a perfect spot. I call my youngest child cat man, as he loves to sit in boxes, drawers, crates and such...so he would totally sit in your new find as well.

  47. I saw one of those when I was at the Hartville Flea Market a few weeks ago and the guy told me it was a berry carrier??? Like you'd put those little square berry baskets in it. Not sure whether to believe him or not, but yours is very cute. The numbering just adds to its charm!
