Hi, everyone! As many of you know, my mom and I own a little shop called 'Home Sweet Home.'
We're open on Fridays and Saturdays, and close for January and February to visit my sister and family in Arizona and just to take a winter break.
Last Saturday, March 1st, we had a Grand Reopening and were warmly welcomed back!
I thought I would share some pictures of the newly freshened up shop (even though a lot of these items have sold-we feel so blessed!)
Hope you don't mind lots of photos...enjoy!
We have amazing candles made for us by a local girl...we can barely keep them in stock!!
Well, I hope that you enjoyed the little 'tour' of Home Sweet Home!
(I have a hard time not keeping all of these goodies for myself!)
Thanks so much for stopping by...have a wonderful rest of your weekend :)
I am so glad you had a great re-opening! All this stuff is just awesome and I wish I lived closer to your store. :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful place to shop! Full of treasures!
ReplyDeleteYour shop looks so pretty, I wish I were close enough to visit! It's my dream one day to have my own shop but for now I'll have to be contented with selling on Etsy.
ReplyDeleteTania
Pretty! No wonder everything is selling quickly...you have such a knack for display and wonderful items to choose from. Browsing little shops like yours is one of my favorite things to do!
ReplyDeleteGood Morning my friend. Ohhhhhhhhh I loved the virtual shopping tour. Everything looks so wonderful. I see so many fabulous treasures I would buy if closer. I bet you had a line at the door for the customers that could not wait for you to reopen. The shop looks amazing.
ReplyDeleteKris
Everything is gorgeous! No wonder it sells so quickly! :)

What a fun place to "visit" even through blogland. You do a beautiful job of display. Those candles look amazing, too. Wish I lived closer and could see it up close and personal. My daughter and I almost opened a shop a couple of years ago-but some things were going on that prevented it from happening...who knows----maybe ONE DAY. I bet you LOVE it! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteOh I how I wish i was closer to visit your store. I would so love it. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteSUCH a beautiful shop!!!!! Loved every single picture!!!
ReplyDeleteYummy goodness.....how can I order one of those candles???
ReplyDeleteShop looks amazing - no surprise there! Glad to hear you had such a successful weekend of selling
ReplyDeleteWow-so many cute things. I could see myself spending a long time looking around because I would have to look at every single thing! Thanks for showing us around your shop, Susan!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty shop to stop in at, sure wish I lived closer I'd be there every weekend! I love the suitcase and flashcards especially the one on the frog!
ReplyDeleteI love all the old clocks. Glad you had such a great reopening. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteSusan,
ReplyDeleteYour re-opening must of rocked!!! All the vignettes were planned out beautifully. I am sure many things if not most sold. Inviting stores like yours and your Moms only happen because of talented display, you rock/excel at the art of vignettes.
Do you plan to sell those wonderful candles in your etsy store? Eyes, fingers and toes crossed the answer is a yes.
Happy Sunday,
XO,
Vera
Your shop looks fabulous, Susan! It's always fun to see what someone else is selling in their shop. Lots of great stuff! LOVE the two door chippy cupboard!!

I would be at your shop every day if it was in my town!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful old things, and photos!:)
ReplyDeleteMany gretings from Finland,

Now I know why I'll never have a booth in a shop like yours, Susan. I'd never be able to part with any of it! Thanks for the tour of all those fabulous chippy treasures!
ReplyDeleteLots of eye candy - Love the white birdcage!
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoyed the weekend.
So many pretty items and so nicely displayed. I have a porch pillar like the one shown. So glad that your opening went well and how I would love to shop there. Thanks for sharing a tour.
ReplyDeleteI would love so much, to shop in your sweet store! Everything is so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI wish I lived closer so I could shop there in person. I spied some cute things such as the tall finial painted white, petite wood cutting boards and old alarm clocks.
ReplyDeleteSure wish that I lived closer...so that I could come up your way to visit your shop. I know that we are in the same state. Thinking that my sister and I should go on a girl's road trip. I was thinking that it would be hard for me to not want to keep everything too. I see so many wonderful things that I really love.

ReplyDeletePretty..Pretty...I really need to take a road trip up the interstate!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great little shop and how much fun it must be to run it with your beautiful mom! It is a dream of mine but I'm getting older and don't have a daughter, so......
ReplyDeleteOMG what great treasure you have in your store! I love everything and it's a good thing that I'm out here on he West Coast as I would be broke.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your new Grand Opening.

Gosh, I enjoyed this. Love to see how you arrange things. Your shop is very charming with lovely displays. You fired me up for doing this week's Spring displays in my shop. I POURED over what you and your partner mom did and just loved it. My kind of shop. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteFabulous! I just opened my little boutique this week! I've had an antiques booth for a couple of years but now I have my own little shop, and I do mean little! It's in an old dressing room at new antiques emporium in our town. I had a photographer come and take some pictures and hopefully I will get them uploaded and get my new blog for my shop going. Anyway, lots of inspiration here! Love how you used the candle flash card for the candle display!
ReplyDeleteYou and your Mom have a wonderful and very charming shop, Susan! I fell in love with several things right away and so I'm not amazed that a lot of items sold so fast.
ReplyDeleteSusan,
ReplyDeleteSuch a charming shop y'all have. Love the frames with the old keys. I would love to feature "Home Sweet Home" at my new series SHOP TALK...e-mail if you are interested.
Blessings,
Linda

SO beautiful. I must find out where you are so if you are on my route for my Ohio sojourn sometime in the next couple of months i can stop by. You remind me that it is time to bring out the bunnies -- even though there is a good deal of snow on the ground, likely to be there a long while, at least I can pretend it is spring! Happy day!
ReplyDeleteI would want to keep everything, too! Love those old clocks and the candles look amazing! I love finding a local person that makes things....always better! Enjoy your week my friend! Sweet hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous shop!...I love seeing pics of such amazing things in your shop....If I were close, I would be there very often!!!...love the birdcage table!!!

I am SO sad that I missed this! I have been SO busy this month. I have barely even slept, and now I am seriously pouting that I haven't been in. I see so many fun finds. I'll definitely be making an appearance this upcoming Saturday! I'm hoping some of the goodies I'm eye-balling haven't already been snapped up! Wishful thinking!!!
