A Special Prayer Request

Hi, everyone!

I know that this is a busy time of year, but I wanted to ask you if you'd please stop for a moment and say a special prayer.

My mom and I have a sweet friend named Debbie...her husband Mike has just been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

They are close to my age and have 4 children.

We are praying for a miracle.

So many of you stepped up and said heartfelt prayers for my mom when she was going through her bout with colon cancer a few months ago; we were/are so grateful to you!
We saw God at work through those prayers as she recovered from her surgery remarkably fast and is doing fantastic!

Now I ask that you say a prayer for Debbie and Mike... that God will give them and their family His comfort, His peace, and His healing touch through this difficult time.

We know that our God is good and that He is able to handle this!

Thank you all so much!  This blogging world is full of wonderful friendships and support, and I appreciate you!

God bless you :)

  22. Sending up prayers for your friends Debbie and Mike and their children, Susan. Pancreatic cancer is so tough and resistant to treatment...but it can be held at bay for a long time sometimes. We had a friend that outlived his diagnosis by several years and was not sick most of the time. Praying for a Christmas miracle for this family. My heart aches for them. xo Diana

  30. Oh my Susan my heart and prayers go out to the whole family. Literally watching and being with my dear friend Audrey that we stayed with they will be in my thoughts every day. Watching her husband Gary struggle and suffer was devastating for all of us. Pancreatic cancer is cruel. Spending the last four years helping her get on with her life was so hard to watch. Gary was my husbands best friend. I'm so very sorry. I mean this from the bottom of my heart
