Happy 15 Year Anniversary!
I feel very blessed in my life, and I'm thankful for many things.
One of the things that I thank God for every single day is that he brought my hubby Keith and I together.
I am so grateful that God gave me a second chance at love with him!
Last year on our anniversary I recounted our very special 'love story'... if you're interested you can go here and read it.
I can't believe that 15 years have passed already since we said 'I do'! Time really does go so fast.
Below is a picture of us on our honeymoon in Montreal.
Yes, we are the crazy people who went to Canada in the dead of winter. However, it was unseasonably warm and we had the best time enjoying the culture (we went to a Monet exhibit AND a hockey game!)
and experiencing the most amazing restaurants (we still agree that it was possibly the best food we've ever tasted!)
We've had a phenomenal 15 years, and I wouldn't change a thing.
(This picture was taken at a wedding this past fall.)
He is my biggest supporter, whether it's regarding my shop, or my blog, or any crazy thing that I decide to do. He often makes me laugh so hard that I practically pee myself (sorry, but it's true!) and we have so much fun together.
He acts as my assistant, taking pics for the blog when I need him to (like at the Sweet Salvage Sale) or loading and moving things to the shop, and when I need help with computer issues (which unfortunately is fairly often) I call him my 'hottie tech support'!
He is a wonderful provider and he makes me feel safe and loved.
Happy Anniversary, to my love! :)
On a somewhat funny note, and to show how much Keith 'gets' me, I have to share my favorite Christmas present from him!
Of course I love the silver bracelet, the massage gift certificates and other gifts that he surprised me with, but this baby made me giddy when I opened it...
Yes, a rusty metal ball!!
He totally picked it out himself (I'd never seen it before to 'hint' that I wanted it) and I absolutely love it!
I laughed at how many girls would be like "What is this piece of junk that you got me?!" and not meaning 'junk' in a good way!
I think it looks fun topping off a pillar, next to my rusty metal bucket. (Notice a theme here? Hmm...)
If this doesn't show that we're meant for each other, then I don't know what does! :)
Thanks so much for stopping by, and have a fantastic day!
(And if you're getting a ton of snow like we are, stay warm!)

Treasure every moment as time does fly. My husband and I were together 36 years and we built so many memories. He had frontal lobe dementia the last 6 and my memories the 30 wonderful years kept me strong for him until the end Nov 10 2012. The memories are treasures in my heart.
ReplyDeleteI do remember your post last year and it made me think what a sweet, honest and friendly sort of person you were...I mean, you really let it all out! :) And I can't believe it's been this long that we've been bloggy friends!!
ReplyDeleteSo Happy Anniversary to you and Keith. This is such a cute pic of the two of you and I am still tempted to try out that cute hairstyle you have!! I love the metal ball. Yep, he totally gets you!

Jane
