Playing in the Hall


Hi, everyone!  I was 'playing around' with this shelving unit in our front hallway, and I thought I'd share what I came up with. (You can see the before look here.)


I now realize that my cow is a little off center...I'll have to fix that! :)


I recently found this 'Hams and Bacon' bin on the bottom shelf at an antique mall and I thought it was quirky and cool...just my thing!


I'm always redoing this vignette so I'm sure it won't stay this way for long, but I like the look for now!

    What a lovely display you've created and the hams and bacon bin is such a fabulous find. Love the cow picture! Hmmmm...is the cow wondering if she is "next" as she looks down on the hams and bacon? :)

    The wooden box just seems like it is in place on the shelving unit. The ham and bacon bin adds to the rustic charm of the area. I believe that the cow is pondering its future, or maybe it is being thankful that it is not a pig, while looking at the ham and bacon bin.
