(A BIG thank you to Debra at Common Ground for featuring this post! :)
Hello, everyone! I'm so happy that it's FINALLY getting warmer out so that I can spend time in one of my favorite rooms again-our sunroom! Every winter all of the furniture gets pushed aside or brought in, and the room is used to store firewood. When I can finally give the room a good cleaning and put it back together again, that says 'Spring' to me!
I decided to showcase some of my favorite silver pieces on a gorgeous silver tray that I just purchased.
Even though I'm into cows lately, not sheep, I just couldn't resist this little wreath-he's too cute! (It seems that farm animals are taking over my house-yikes!)
I moved the table and chair from the office back in here. (I'll be showing you what I've done in there eventually!) I just feel like they fill the space better than anything else I've tried so far.
I'll be sharing more of the sunroom later.
Hope you're getting some sunshine your way! Have a wonderful day :)

Hi, It all looks very pretty. Have a great weekend...Connie
ReplyDeleteIt is all so very pretty! Loving your silver! My little garden room doesn't get used in the winter either, cleaning it up is an indication that warmer weather is here for me too. Have a great weekend!!!
ReplyDeleteI would love to have a sun room, even if it's only used part of the year. You have yours done just the way I would! The lamb wreath is precious and I love the old chippy furniture.
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw your silver tray, I had to ask if you had any tips for cleaning silver. I'm doing my silverware little by little using the baking soda/boiling water method. It looks pretty good but still some tarnish. Any suggestions?
XO,
Jane
SO SO pretty Susan....I love your furniture, you have so many great pieces! Enjoy that sunshine! ~Meg
ReplyDeleteSusan, Please put me at the top of your list if you ever decide to sell that fabulous table!!! I LOVE your pretty silver corralled on the gorgeous tray and paired with the primitive table. Perfect!!

ReplyDeleteI'm still waiting for spring to arrive here. Hopefully the begining of next week it will come to stay. I really like what you have done in your sunroom. The table is goreous and so is the silver display. But what caught my eye the most is your pretty bookself behind the chair. I adore how you have it styled.
ReplyDeletelove it all, especially the sheep. But you probably knew I would love the sheep.
ReplyDeleteWow! I love the contrast between the pretty silver cups and the moss covered balls. Great idea Susan. Perfect...right down to the farm animals!
ReplyDeleteI guess our garden room is sort of like a sunroom in the midwest. We had a tree trimmed today, moved furniture around in the garden and I'm making pillows for the fire pit. In our small cottage, our garden room is essential.
ReplyDeleteSo inviting , love it !!

I just love that table! Everything about your room spoke to me but that one yelled out. I pinned it on my pinterest board and hopefully my hubby might try to make me one someday. Thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteI love the unpolished look of your sunroom! Are you going for a “farm” look and feel here? Because it does look and feel like one. It looks organic. The sheep is also a nice touch.
